The 73rd Emmy Awards

The 73rd Emmy Awards on CBS marked our first full turn around the Emmys wheel, with a ceremony produced for each of the four major networks that share custody of TV’s biggest night.

Accommodating the hybrid spirit of our first post-pandemic year, the 2021 ceremony accommodated nominees and winners who attended in-person as well as those who attended remotely. We also embraced the scaled-back ceremony’s opportunity for intimacy, seating the attendees at tables that gave the proceedings the feeling of a much-deserved celebration.
