With over 300 looks and appearances from the who’s who of supermodels including Candice Swanepoel, Rosie Huntington-Whitley, Alek Wek, Eva Herzigova, Adriana Lima, Isabeli Fontana, Sara Sampaio and a surprise from Halle Berry in her iconic 2002 Oscars look, the stage in Saudi Arabia delivered a spectacle never before seen in the kingdom.

The League of Legends World Finals 2024 broke records as the most-watched esports event and most-watched esports opening ceremony ever, with over 70 million viewers globally and 242 million engagements across digital and social platforms. 

The spectacular opening ceremony, developed and produced by Done+Dusted, shattered previous viewership records by delivering a spectacle and narrative driven entirely by practical effects. 

Highlights included the largest-ever display of pyrotechnics and lasers at London’s O2 Arena, 100 choreographed dancers, hand-drawn graffiti graphics, the most powerful black lights and audience wristbands ever manufactured, a dramatic kabuki and sniffer curtain reveal, and stage automation that raised the trophy, playing surface, and six-piece band up through the floor.

Headlining the musical performances was Linkin Park, making an electrifying return and performing the Worlds anthem, "Heavy Is The Crown," which quite literally set the stage on fire. Ashnikko performed "Paint The Town Blue" from Arcane Season 2, while Mars Atlas and Tiffany Aris presented "Still Here" from the 2024 Season cinematic. The event culminated with Faker claiming his fifth Worlds trophy, cementing the night’s place in esports history.

League of Legends World Finals 2024

The World Early Childhood Development (WED) Forum gathers policy influencers, academics, practitioners, and innovators in Abu Dhabi to discuss trends in early childhood development.

D+D excelled in the event operations scope and delivered a site-wide scenic & branding, technical, logistics, and media production deliverables. It is always fun to produce meaningful experiences, but this one was special. Working with several stakeholders and creatives, the event’s look and feel served as a portal back to a childhood dreamy world. Not only did D+D produce the event, but we also celebrated not one, but two team members’ birthdays in one shot. What a lovely coincidence with the theme of the event!

Victoria's Secret

After a six-year hiatus, Victoria’s Secret set out to revive its iconic fashion show, reimagined for the digital age. Tasked with bringing back the glamor and spectacle fans know and love, Done + Dusted reshaped the show with a bold, modern twist. The result was a star-studded, all-female lineup featuring global superstars like LISA, Tyla, and Cher, alongside runway legends including Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss, Candice Swanepoel, Carla Bruni, and more.


This reinvention of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a celebration of women, with every aspect of the production influenced by women for women. From the executive leadership at Victoria’s Secret to the Executive Producers, Co-Director, Creatives, Camera operators, and Editors, women were at the helm, crafting the vision and execution of the show.


Rather than relying on traditional network or streaming broadcasts, Done + Dusted orchestrated a “digital takeover” across social platforms to reach VS’s global audience where they are. The show was livestreamed across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Amazon on more than 85 unique social handles, including Victoria’s Secret’s owned channels and the personal accounts of the models and artists in the show. This innovative distribution strategy resulted in a combined reach of over 305 million people.


The show’s impact was undeniable. Within 24 hours of its airing, Victoria’s Secret saw a 7% increase in stock price and reached a 52-week high just a few weeks later—solidifying the cultural significance of this historic return.

Riyadh Season Opening Ceremony 2024

The UAE President’s Cup Football Draw Ceremony showcases artful simplicity.

Celebrating 50 years since the first ever UAE President’s Cup, the core of the event was designed to honour both the legacy and the progress of this prestigious championship. The draw event elements merged to form a cohesive narrative structure, seamlessly integrating the championship’s rich history with its dynamic future.

A standout guest experience element of the event was the integration of sophisticated AI workflows to bring old archival photos to life. D+D animated still images using written prompts and precise motion control settings. This technology relies on analysing details of the image, such as facial expressions and body posture, to generate realistic movements. These animated archive photos provided a unique experience, blending the history of the championship with cutting edge AI technologies.

Esports World Cup 2024

For the second consecutive year, Riot Games partnered with Done+Dusted to deliver an epic Grand Finals to the 2024 Valorant Champions Tour.

Together, we created a massive stage for the ultimate competition – complete with a three story tall LED wall, half a mile of LED tape, eyebrow-searing pyrotechnics, and 1,400 lighting fixtures. Our incredible crew worked 100,000 man hours to load and rig 228,000 pounds of equipment from the ceiling.

We raised the bar once again with an explosive opening ceremony featuring three distinct musical performances culminating in an iconic performance by Kiss of Life and Mark Tuan, carefully weaving Valorant IP throughout the show. This year, we invited the community to co-create the ceremony with us wardrobe, highlight reel editing, and even dance performance to create a ceremony for the fans by the fans.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with Riot Games at League of Legends Worlds later in 2024.

The 2024 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, a slime-filled celebration of fan favorites across television, film, and music, marked another successful collaboration between Done+Dusted and Nickelodeon. This year’s event was particularly special, as it coincided with the 25th birthday of the beloved SpongeBob SquarePants. 

From the electrifying performances by The Kid Laroi and Rita Ora to the iconic slime showers, Done+Dusted ensured that the Kids’ Choice Awards remained an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages. This year's Kids' Choice Awards was a testament to the creative synergy between Done+Dusted and Nickelodeon, as we brought together a diverse range of talent and innovative concepts to create an unforgettable experience for millions of viewers. From the opening moments to the final slime shower, the show was a celebration of youth culture!

Done+Dusted, in collaboration with Netflix and Tudum, orchestrated a groundbreaking virtual launch event for the highly anticipated Season 3 Part 2 of Bridgerton. The event, filmed at the iconic Leicester Square in London, offered fans a front-row seat to the glamorous world of the ton, with exclusive red-carpet interviews and in-depth conversations with the show's stars.

Edith Bowman, Gena-Mour Barrett, and Mia Brabham Nolan expertly guided viewers through the virtual festivities, which included a unique interactive experience with a virtual red carpet tour, a live Q&A session with the cast, and an exclusive premiere of Episode 5. Done+Dusted's expertise in producing innovative live events ensured a seamless and unforgettable virtual experience that captured the essence of the show's captivating world.

D+D once again partnered with Google to produce their annual keynote, Google I/O 2024. Held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, the event was a massive success, boasting the highest in-person attendance since pre-pandemic times and over 1.6 million views on YouTube. Done+Dusted's expertise shone as they expertly navigated the challenges of an outdoor venue, balancing complex camera and lighting setups against unpredictable weather. Their scope of work included pre-show entertainment with a live DJ, state-of-the-art technology like spider, rail, and tower cams, and a seamless collaboration with De-yan and Google's Events and Experiences Team.

The event also featured a special performance by Mark Rebillet. Our teams elevated the livestream experience by incorporating cutting-edge production techniques and innovative formats. The team's adaptability and utilization of Google's suite of products further streamlined the workflow. Google I/O 2024 was a resounding success, showcasing Google's latest innovations while providing an engaging and entertaining experience for both in-person and online attendees.

At this year’s Disney+ Upfronts D+D consulted for the House of Mouse supporting their creative ambitions to produce the most entertaining Upfront of the week. Collaborating on storytelling, scripting and stage moments. D+D LOVE working with our friends across the Disney Eco System.

Done+Dusted produced the Kennedy Center's triumphant 25th Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, marking the first year of a multi-year partnership with Netflix. This milestone event honored the comedic genius of Kevin Hart, captivating both the live audience and viewers at home.

We curated an unforgettable evening, weaving a compelling narrative through the program and spotlighting iconic moments such as Kevin's grand entrance with pyrotechnics, his lively dance with Lil Dicky, and the exhilarating opening performance by Nelly and Robin Thicke. With meticulous attention to detail, we ensured that every aspect of the production exceeded expectations.

Done+Dusted's scope of work encompassed staging the event for the Kennedy Center, this being one of its biggest fundraising nights of the year, while simultaneously crafting an 80-minute special for Netflix. By seamlessly integrating the live event and the broadcast experience, we created a truly immersive experience for all.

The Mark Twain Prize holds a special place in our hearts. In the course of the 5 editions we have produced, the event has cemented its place as America’s highest recognition for comedy. Transforming a challenging glass-roofed venue into a captivating stage, the team orchestrated a seamless production from concept to broadcast. Partnering with the local broadcaster TVE, Done+Dusted's "soup to nuts" approach encompassed creative direction, technical execution, and stunning set design that elevated the event's prestige. Notable highlights included Tom Brady's moving tribute to Novak Djokovic, underscoring the emotional power of sport that Laureus celebrates.

When they set out to bring their Masters tournament to historic Madrid for the first time ever, they once again chose Done+Dusted as their trusted production partner. Our objective: surpass the record-breaking achievements of previous Valorant events and create an unforgettable experience for diehard fans and newcomers alike.

Done+Dusted and Riot Games worked hand-in-hand to meticulously construct every electrifying component of Valorant Masters 2024. Together, we crafted custom staging + dynamic lighting, brought fans + pros together, and redesigned the trophy presentation to reflect the unique iconography of the highly anticipated new agent, Clove.

The result was a truly historic event, resulting in not just the most watched Valorant Masters event, but the most watched Valorant event of all time — and a cumulative 34.9m hours watched! The nail-biting Grand Finals, and surprise new agent reveal, garnered widespread critical acclaim, solidifying the event as a resounding success for fans and Riot Games.

Valorant Masters Madrid 2024

Done+Dusted once again joined forces with Epic Games, this time for the highly anticipated State of Unreal 2024 showcase. In supporting Epic for the third consecutive year, our goal was to enhance the unveiling of Unreal Engine 5.4, the newest iteration of the cornerstone 3D software utilized by industry giants ranging from Fortnite creators to Hollywood visual effects maestros. Tasked with elevating the production quality to match the significance and complexity of the content, we focused on enriching everything from audio and lighting to pacing and presentation. With an emphasis on pixel-perfect and color-accurate translation of game play onto screens and broadcast, our team meticulously crafted an evergreen set that not only met but exceeded Epic's exacting standards. This dedication to precision and excellence resulted in an immersive experience for both in-person attendees and the vast online audience.

Leveraging advanced camera systems, including railcams and jibs, we created dynamic broadcast visuals without inflating costs. Strategic placement of cameras and backstage equipment optimized speaker eye lines and accommodated an array of complex playback solutions. Notable highlights of the show included the world premiere of Marvel's 1943: Rise of Hydra trailer, real-time in-engine demonstrations featuring iconic characters like Captain America and Black Panther, and exclusive gameplay footage of Dune: Awakening. With a focus on technical excellence and innovation, Done+Dusted delivered a truly unforgettable experience, setting a new standard for live event production in the gaming industry.

Epic State of Unreal 2024

The Abu Dhabi Sports Championship marked a significant milestone, bringing together young, aspiring athletes from across the region of Abu Dhabi for an exhilarating display of skill, sportsmanship, and entertainment.

Done+Dusted gave a full-service in event management and media production across the entire sports season, collaborating with different sports agencies. Our services included event management, site-wide operations, event design and site layout, branding application, facility management, guest and athlete registration, and supplier accreditation.

 We captured and edited over 40,000 images and 10TB of video, deploying 36 media crews. Our secure and compliant workflow for client approvals ensured quick turnaround of raw footage into weekly wrap-ups and sizzles, maintaining high standards of data protection and privacy.

 The fan-zone emerged as a centre of celebration, engagement, and entertainment. This dynamic area offered a vibrant gathering space with a wide array of activities and entertainment. Highlights included interactive sports simulations and culinary delights from F&B trucks, enhancing the spectator experience and fostering a sense of community.

 The closing ceremony, designed and produced by Done+Dusted, featured a vibrant athletes' parade and a stellar performance by renowned musician Hussein Al Jasmi. This performance, brought to life through Done+Dusted expertise in artistic staging, celebrated the athletes' accomplishments and unified the audience in a shared cultural moment

Abu Dhabi Sports Championship 2024

Done+Dusted worked with PBS and Henry Louis Gates, Jr. to produce GOSPEL Live!, a companion concert to PBS and Gates’ four hour GOSPEL docuseries. This hourlong live-to-tape event, filmed in front of a packed congregation at Oasis Church in the heart of LA, captured gospel music’s community feeling, cultural impact, and raw spiritual power.  
In collaboration with acclaimed gospel artist Erica Campbell, our team of creative partners crafted a live event and broadcast that took audiences in person and at home on a journey through gospel music’s influential history. Music director Alonzo “Zo” Harris presented 9 iconic songs from the canon, performed by contemporary secular artists and renowned gospel singers including John Legend, Anthony Hamilton and The Ton3s, LaTocha, Mali Music, Lena Byrd Miles, Sheléa, and Tauren Wells.
Beyond the music, GOSPEL Live! offered personal reflections from the artists themselves, shedding light on how gospel touches their lives and informs their work. No genre has had a greater influence on American music than gospel, and it was incredible to witness its evolution in this life-affirming, roof-raising show.

Done+Dusted rolled out the lavender carpet once again to produce the 3rd edition of Saudi Arabia’s annual Joy Awards, live in Riyadh and broadcast on MBC. The glamorous ceremony gathered the region’s biggest stars for a luxe night full of touching acceptance speeches and incredible live performances from artists including Assala, Sherine, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Amr Diab, Nagat, Yoann Bourgeois, Gloria Gaynor, Bebe Rexha, and Lang Lang.

International stars also made appearances, with Mark Wahlberg, John Cena, Tyson Fury, Sam Worthington, Anthony Anderson and Georgina Rodriguez.  Honorary Awards going to Rabeh Saqer, Adel Emam, Mona Wasef, Kevin Costner, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Quincy Jones,  Zack Snyder, Martin Lawrence and Eva Longoria.

The Kennedy Center

The Kennedy Center called upon Done+Dusted to produce the Kennedy Center Honors in both 2022 and 2023, honoring the lifetime artistic achievements of some of the most accomplished and culturally-significant names in arts and entertainment, including Billy Crystal, Queen Latifah, Dionne Warwick, Barry Gibb, and George Clooney, among others.

As a full-service production company, Done+Dusted crafted a live show that felt electric and elegant in the room and translated the same experience for viewers watching at home. CBS broadcast the as-live recorded program as a primetime special in both 2022 and 2023.

TikTok

Done+Dusted mixed it up with TikTok this December 10th, joining the media giant to produce its first ever, large-scale, in-person music experience. The show lit up Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona, where over 18,000 fans attended the event in person, and a record-breaking 35 million people tuned into TikTok's livestream. We worked together to create 6 hours of content, featuring performances from Cardi B, Anitta, Niall Horan, Peso Pluma and Charlie Puth, and additional performances by Sam Barber, Lu Kala, Renee Rapp, and Isabel LaRosa.

TikTok native talent Drew Afualo (@drewafualo) and Eric Sedeño (@ricotaquito) provided hilarious event coverage from their broadcasters' booth, and popular interviewer Bru (@bruontheradio) talked to the stars backstage. IRL attendees also enjoyed activations and photo opportunities from Coke and the upcoming films Bob Marley: One Love and the Mean Girls musical. Done+Dusted Middle East collaborated with Sandstorm, Abu Dhabi's first dedicated comic book studio, to produce the inaugural Storm The Block event at twofour54’s Yas Creative Hub – Yas Island this December.

For three days, fans and industry leaders celebrated comic book culture with panels from internationally acclaimed artists and writers, booths where fans could meet their favorite creators, and community events including a cosplay contest, a rock-paper-scissors tournament, and a collaborative drawing wall.  We're so excited to return for another as the comic industry continues to take off in Abu Dhabi and the region!

Global Citizen

In November of 2023, Global Citizen announced a first-of-its-kind music tour across Africa meant to inspire and energize young creatives throughout the continent, beginning with a concert in Rwanda. To help put the show together, they needed a trusted partner with experience in putting on excellent live shows and with a global presence; so they chose Done + Dusted.

Move Afrika is far from the only project that D+D had the privilege of working on with Global Citizen in 2023, but it certainly is one of the most ambitious -- and rewarding. On December 6th, 2023, Move Afrika’s first show took place at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda, hosted by Winston Duke and headlined by Grammy Award-winner Kendrick Lamar. 

The show received critical acclaim, and is just the first of a series of planned concerts developed in partnership with the Rwanda Development Board to take place from 2023 through 2028.

The UAE’s rich history and bold vision for the future are cause for celebration, and Done+Dusted was honored to help deliver the broadcast of the annual Union Day Ceremony yet again.

In collaboration with legendary local creatives, 2023's show was a celebration of the past 52 years of connectivity and collaboration that honored the Emirates peoples of today and the legacy that they and the UAE are building together. Done+Dusted is proud to have contributed to eight ceremonies over the years thus far.

Santa Claus is back in town! But not just any town: Memphis, Tennessee, to be specific. For the first time in its history, Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate presents a televised concert celebrating the Holiday Season. With this hallowed ground ready to open its gates for a special concert event, all this project needed was a production company with the right pedigree to bring the festivities; and Done+Dusted was just the team for the job.

Working with our partners at Authentic Brands, we produced a star-studded seasonal celebration with The King’s own granddaughter Riley Keough and featuring performances from top artists like John Legend, Alanis Morrisette, Kacey Musgraves and more, all broadcast from iconic locations around the estate, intercut with archival footage and testimonials from Elvis’s friends and family.

Hannah Waddingham grew up around live theatre, ultimately becoming one of the West End’s most celebrated musical and theatrical talents before gracing television screens worldwide in her Emmy Award-winning turn as Rebecca Welton in Ted Lasso. Wanting to return to the stage, she pitched Apple on hosting her very own Christmas special for 2023; and Apple jumped at the opportunity. When they needed a production partner to bring that special to life, they called on Done + Dusted.

Filmed live at the Coliseum in London, D+D brought their expert technical skill in producing live concerts and their flare for the festive to deliver Christmas cheer, heartwarming comedy, and roof-raising performances from host Hannah Waddingham, her Ted Lasso cast members, and musical Artists that included Leslie Odom Jr., Phil Dunster, Luke Evans, Sam Ryder, and the London Gay Men's Chorus. This Emmy Nominated show was a smashing success, with The Independent calling Hannah the “new Queen of Christmas.”

Saudi Arabia is fast becoming a global force in entertainment, investing heavily in live sports, music, and ceremonial events. To mark the beginning of the fourth Riyadh Season - the region’s annual sports and entertainment festival - the Saudi Tourism Authority needed an opening event that dazzled, impressed, and proved to the world why the future of live entertainment is in Saudi Arabia. To share this event with the world, they turned to Done+Dusted.

We partnered with Sela | صلة and POSSIBLE to create a stunning opening ceremony using state-of-the-art technologies like hologauze, AR, lasers, pyrotechnics, and Vanish LED, along with dynamic choreography and enhanced live performances from the likes of Lil Baby, Flowdan, and Becky G. 

The performances ratcheted up the energy in the room to fever pitch as a boxing ring was elevated into the arena from below, setting the stage for The Battle of the Baddest, a heavyweight boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou that made headlines worldwide.

Global Citizen NYC 2023

Entertainment is at it’s most powerful when it’s being used for good, which is why we were eager to partner with Global Citizen, an international advocacy and educational project whose mission is to end extreme poverty worldwide. 

For Global Citizen Festival Central Park 2023 - one of three Global Citizens events D+D produced in 2023 - we went back to our roots in the curation and capture of live festival performances to put on a show for the ages, featuring performances from The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lauryn Hill, BTS member Jungkook, and many more.

Industry-leading esports pioneer Riot Games is the award-winning developer and publisher behind Valorant and League of Legends, two games that have defined competitive gaming since its inception. When they needed a production partner to produce an opening ceremony that would - as Riot put it - “blow their fans' minds,” they chose Done + Dusted.

From conception to broadcast, Done + Dusted worked in lockstep with Riot to align vision with execution, meticulously pre-visualizing every aspect of the production using every tool available, from hand-drawn mood boards to shot-for-shot camera blocking in a simulation of The Forum rendered in Unreal Engine.

Our collaboration and hard work paid off: the finals ceremony featured a jaw-dropping 12 minutes of all-out action, perfectly synchronized and driven by timecode that ensured frame-perfect alignment of pyrotechnics, augmented reality, a flying dropship, lasers, LED audience bracelets, and dozens of massive LED surfaces featuring bespoke IP-driven content. The result was a massive critical success that drew millions of viewers and marked a significant moment in community building and fan interaction.

Global Citizen is an organization that seeks to promote social justice and environmental sustainability through an intersectional lens, and it was our pleasure to lend them our skillset in producing their 2023 show Power Our Planet, broadcast live from a stunning set backed by the Eiffel Tower. 

With powerful performances from Lenny Kravitz, Billy Eilish, H.E.R., and others, Power Our Planet served as a strong call to action for viewers worldwide to help support the most vulnerable populations facing adversity caused by climate change. 

This was just one of three Global Citizen events that Done + Dusted was tapped to produce for the foundation in 2023.

To debut exciting new developments in AI-powered search and introduce new hardware from their groundbreaking Pixel line, Google called on Done+Dusted to produce their signature annual keynote for the third year in a row.

Done+Dusted production highlights included direction by our Emmy-nominated partner and director Hamish Hamilton, sets that enveloped Mountain View’s massive Shoreline Amphitheatre in Google’s signature warm style and primary colors, and the installation of a huge state-of-the-art screen for live product demonstrations and more.

Since 2004, Done+Dusted has partnered with the Laureus foundation to advance its mission: sport for good. We work as a turnkey production company for Laureus, conceptualizing and delivering the annual Laureus Awards that honor the most impactful sportsmen and sportswomen of the year.

With an 18 year track record, there are too many production highlights to enumerate. We’ve taken the globe-trotting show from Russia to Brazil, from Monte Carlo to Abu Dhabi, celebrating the universal power of sport. With an A-List roster of athletic talent, and an audience that includes dignitaries and royals, we’re proud to have pulled off the “Oscars of athletics” for nearly two decades now.

Done+Dusted reunited with Epic Games, this time at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, to produce another edition of a keynote showing off the latest and greatest in Unreal Engine 5, their 3D software development tool used by everyone from Fortnite game designers to The Mandalorian special effect supervisors to Porsche engineers.

Featuring live tech demos, a customized set designed and fabricated by Done+Dusted, and broadcast coverage curated by our crack team, it was a privilege to continue our relationship with the best of the best in gaming.

Done+Dusted and executive producer David Jammy returned to produce the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor for the fourth year in a row, packing the Kennedy Center to honor the Sandman himself: Adam Sandler. He’s an absolute mensch and deserved every second of it.

We loved creating a platform for the funniest talent in the world to celebrate their friend and his three decade career in filmmaking and comedy, with appearances from Ben Stiller, Jennifer Aniston, Judd Apatow, Drew Barrymore, Conan O’Brien, Chris Rock, Steve Buscemi— to name a few.

For their annual Stream On keynote event and livestream, Spotify needed to pull off a satisfying guest experience, followed by a flawless technical execution of their packed lineup of software announcements and A-List talent appearances. Done+Dusted handled both with aplomb, transforming an LA Arts District warehouse into a cozy cafe for guests to enjoy pre-show and a custom-built venue to host the event itself.

The keynote reflected Spotify’s commitment to remaining on the cutting edge, with a state-of-the-art robotic camera broadcast system and integrated live audience seating that immersed viewers at home and in the room. And we were star-struck coordinating talent management for audio icons of all stripes, from musicians like J Lo, the Jonas Brothers, and Chloë Bailey to hit podcasters like Emma Chamberlain and Alex Cooper.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of an educational entertainment dynasty that taught us to get down and how a bill becomes a law, this singalong featured celebrities like Julianne Hough, Jason Biggs, The Muppets, and Ne-Yo, with Ryan Seacrest serving as (school) master of ceremonies.

Done+Dusted brought the same singalong magic that made our previous editions for ABC a success, and delighted kids and parents alike with integrated animation, a well-developed sense of humor, and an always-game cast.

EMAAR, the record-setting team behind the construction of the Burj Khalifa - the tallest building on the planet - sponsor UAE’s biggest annual New Year’s Eve event. Like their constructions, the expectations for this show are high. That’s why - for three years running - they’ve partnered with Done + Dusted to throw the most spectacular party in the Middle East.

We produced and directed the broadcast of EMAAR New Year’s Eve in 2021, 2022, and 2023 featuring record-breaking lighting, laser, and firework displays while also honoring the story of the UAE’s rich history and its bold vision for its future.

Lizzo and Max entrusted Done+Dusted to capture the epic final live performance of her acclaimed Special Tour—and perhaps more importantly, to tell the story of the bond between Lizzo and her fans and reflect the album’s central message of self love, body positivity, and equality for all.

We captured behind-the-scenes content and handled the live performance’s staging and screens, and we’re honored to have played a small part in Lizzo’s journey. With special guests including Missy Elliot, SZA, and Cardi B, Lizzo: Live In Concert earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Variety Special, adding to the artist’s already impressive awards tally.

That Girl Lay Lay brought a whole new meaning to “rapping gifts” in this slime-tastic Nickelodeon holiday special. Done+Dusted made a list and checked it twice, handling the script, the sets, the staging, and the live studio audience.

The Great Nickmas Tree Sliming

Part live-action, part animated film, and 100% Disney magic, Beauty And the Beast: A 30th Celebration was a fairy tale opportunity for Done+Dusted. We jumped at the chance to re-imagine a beloved piece of popular culture as a live musical event, and pioneered a new format that wove together live action footage, archival sketches, and scenes from the original film for a seamless appointment viewing experience.

Shot with a live audience on the Disney lot, the special featured Emmy-nominated choreography, breathtaking costumes, and bespoke sets. A star-studded cast led by H.E.R. and Josh Groban drew in millions of viewers, and the special took the top ratings slot for the night. 

Beauty And The Beast: A 30th Celebration

Done+Dusted worked with Disney+ to produce Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays, a globally-inspired good time from the Grammy Award winning, bestselling acapella group.

The special dove into holiday tales and traditions submitted by Pentatonix listeners around the world, with footage of real fans in their hometowns from Iceland to Japan. There were also hilarious sketches by the group, and of course, plenty of incredible singing, with acapella covers of holiday songs shot in captivating environments that combined physical sets with extended reality.

Done+Dusted partnered with Disney Plus to bring this modern-day reimagining of a timeless holiday classic to life on their streaming platform just in time for Christmas. The program honors the original Tchaikovsky masterpiece while standing on its own as a high-energy hip-hop spectacle sure to please audiences of any age.

Legends like MC Kurtis Blow and Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons starred in the program alongside a bevy of talented dancers and hip hop artists, including the fan favorite Jabbawockeez dance crew. Hip Hop Nutcracker is currently available to stream on Disney+.

UAEFA

In 2021 + 2022, Done+Dusted produced and directed the live broadcast of the spectacular 20 minute ceremony that opens the final game of the prestigious President’s Cup, an annual tournament put on by the United Arab Emirates Football Association. 

In association with our long-time partner Progress Productions, we build up even more hype for a highly-anticipated game. We use lasers and light shows, audio-visual effects, and a bevy of pyrotechnics to create an electric atmosphere for over 20,000 football fans in the stadium and audiences watching at home. We also produce the post-match award ceremony, attended by sheikhs and UEFA officials.

Done+Dusted continued our strong partnership with Google in 2022, working with them to produce another edition of Search On. The event’s theme was “Search Outside the Box”, and Google needed a production company to bring the same creative energy to this 50 minute celebration of Google’s ever-expanding flagship search technology.

Done+Dusted rose to the occasion, engaging audiences with a broadcast that illustrated features like visual search with TikTok “Shitty Craft” creator Sam Reece and improved restaurant hunting with comedian Ronny Chieng.

Norman Lear’s contributions to entertainment will live on forever. From his beginnings as a writer on Martin + Lewis, Mr. Lear quickly rose to fame as a prolific creator of beloved shows like All In The Family, Mary Hartman Mary Hartman, One Day at a Time, and so many more. For his 100th birthday, the industry itself came together to pay homage to this titan of television; and D+D was thrilled when we were tapped to produce this milestone event.

100 Years of Music + Laughter was a groundbreaking show that featured tributes from the likes of Jimmy Kimmel, Tom Hanks, Rob Reiner, and many more. This spectacular live event was broadcast alongside documentary-style footage that showed exactly why Mr. Lear was one of the most beloved figures in entertainment. A hit with audiences and critics, the special earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Variety Special.

The 74th Emmy Awards aired on NBC, broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and hosted by SNL’s Kenan Thompson.

Done+Dusted brought new life to the awards show format by including a dedicated DJ and announcer that assisted Kenan in his hosting duties, creating a brisk and bright show that celebrated the industry’s favorite storytellers.

Commonwealth Games Federation

As a celebration of sport, a tribute to the host city Birmingham, and a global event that united 72 countries around the world, the Commonwealth Games’ opening and closing ceremonies demanded visionary and experienced live producers like Done+Dusted. We conceptualized, staged, and filmed the games’ opening and closing ceremonies for a combined global audience of over 1.4 billion people.

The opening ceremony included over 2,000 live performers, dozens of vintage cars, and one massive mechanical bull. Just eleven days later, we produced a closing ceremony that featured a medley of unforgettable performances, from a sneak peek of a Peaky Blinders stage show to a surprise finale by Ozzy Osbourne.

Done+Dusted catered to the Middle East’s growing appetite for entertainment with Fame Factory, a first-of-its-kind immersive theatrical experience that debuted during Jeddah’s festival season in 2022. 1,000 guests a day bought tickets to experience a 40-minute whirlwind adventure, where they lived the A-lister lifestyle. 

Throughout the experience, a cast of actors guided them through their newfound superstar status, taking them from the wardrobe trailer to making their own blockbuster trailer and giving their triumphant speech on the awards stage. Along the way, our proprietary digital asset capture technology turned their unforgettable day into Instagrammable photos and videos. The permanent experience in Riyadh saw 130,000 guests buy tickets.

Google trusted Done+Dusted to produce YouTube’s biggest night and the results were spectacular. The live event highlighted the huge range of YouTube’s vast talent pool, with moments from MrBeast, Mark Rober, and many, many more, and an opening performance by Lizzo, who got the party started alongside Grammy and Oscar winner Jon Batiste.

We were in our element, handling everything from A-List talent management to staging and graphic design to the seamless integration of live performances with an advertiser-focused keynote. It’s impossible to convey the full extent of awesomeness available on YouTube— but we got pretty close!

Unveiling Google functions years in the making and introducing expanded user capabilities that better serve Google’s diverse users, Done+Dusted took our second I/O showcase as an opportunity to center the human in a showcase of a tech company that does the same.

We transformed Shoreline Amphitheatre into a cozy living room for thousands of attendees, without sacrificing production value, installing a massive, high resolution screen for live product demonstrations and engaging pre-recorded clips.

It was our honor to resume producing the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor post-pandemic, celebrating the prolific humorist and self-described “non-essential worker” Jon Stewart in the first Kennedy Center awards ceremony since 2019. 

Jon Stewart has always used his platform to advance causes he believes in, and our show touched on the legacy he’s established, both silly and serious, with archival footage from Stewart’s long career and intimate clips of Stewart among family and friends. The ceremony included a live musical performance by Bruce Springsteen and speeches from an incredible lineup of friends and collaborators including Steve Carrell, Dave Chappelle, Pete Davidson, Ed Helms, Jimmy Kimmel, Samantha Bee, John Oliver, and more.
