Global Citizen Festival 2024
Global Citizen 2024 took over New York City's iconic Central Park, bringing together 50,000 attendees and millions of global viewers through live broadcasts and streaming platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Disney+, YouTube, and TikTok. Done+Dusted led the festival’s live stream, creative execution, and overall event production, ensuring a seamless experience both on-site and for remote audiences worldwide.
The festival’s core mission—mobilizing global citizens to take action in the fight against poverty, climate change, and inequality—was at the heart of the event, with performances and appearances designed to inspire and engage a broad international audience.
This year's lineup featured an electrifying mix of global superstars including Post Malone, Doja Cat, LISA, Jelly Roll, Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone and RAYE. The event was hosted by Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman, with special appearances by luminaries such as Dr. Jane Goodall, Chris Martin of Coldplay, and a diverse roster of cultural figures, activists, and entertainers, including Whoopi Goldberg, Bill Nye, Danai Gurira, and Charlamagne Tha God. These voices amplified Global Citizen’s mission, blending entertainment with advocacy in a way that felt both immersive and urgent.
The impact of Global Citizen 2024 extended far beyond Central Park, with a record-breaking 3.4 million actions taken by participants worldwide to combat poverty, protect the planet, and demand equity. This tangible response demonstrated the power of live events in driving real-world change.
