Move Afrika 2023 | A Global Citizen Experience

In November of 2023, Global Citizen announced a first-of-its-kind music tour across Africa meant to inspire and energize young creatives throughout the continent, beginning with a concert in Rwanda. To help put the show together, they needed a trusted partner with experience in putting on excellent live shows and with a global presence; so they chose Done + Dusted.

Move Afrika is far from the only project that D+D had the privilege of working on with Global Citizen in 2023, but it certainly is one of the most ambitious -- and rewarding. On December 6th, 2023, Move Afrika’s first show took place at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda, hosted by Winston Duke and headlined by Grammy Award-winner Kendrick Lamar. 

The show received critical acclaim, and is just the first of a series of planned concerts developed in partnership with the Rwanda Development Board to take place from 2023 through 2028.
