GlitchCon 2020

In 2020, social distancing made streaming platforms like Twitch more important than ever, and their annual keynote GlitchCon 2020 embraced virtual reality with a one-of-a-kind, online alternative to their annual keynote, TwitchCon. We worked with Twitch to create extended reality stages for 425 of their top creators, and the end result was a 12-hour marathon live stream that was the longest XR live stream in history.

With 20 content segments across the event, more than 6.7 million viewers overall, and 175,000 concurrent viewers, GlitchCon was not only an opportunity for creative problem solving, but an unrivaled success that paved a path for future immersive virtual experiences.
