Part live-action, part animated film, and 100% Disney magic, Beauty And the Beast: A 30th Celebration was a fairy tale opportunity for Done+Dusted. We jumped at the chance to re-imagine a beloved piece of popular culture as a live musical event, and pioneered a new format that wove together live action footage, archival sketches, and scenes from the original film for a seamless appointment viewing experience.

Shot with a live audience on the Disney lot, the special featured Emmy-nominated choreography, breathtaking costumes, and bespoke sets. A star-studded cast led by H.E.R. and Josh Groban drew in millions of viewers, and the special took the top ratings slot for the night.

At this year’s Disney+ Upfronts D+D consulted for the House of Mouse supporting their creative ambitions to produce the most entertaining Upfront of the week. Collaborating on storytelling, scripting and stage moments. D+D LOVE working with our friends across the Disney Eco System.
