Commonwealth Games Ceremonies 2022

As a celebration of sport, a tribute to the host city Birmingham, and a global event that united 72 countries around the world, the Commonwealth Games’ opening and closing ceremonies demanded visionary and experienced live producers like Done+Dusted. We conceptualized, staged, and filmed the games’ opening and closing ceremonies for a combined global audience of over 1.4 billion people.

The opening ceremony included over 2,000 live performers, dozens of vintage cars, and one massive mechanical bull. Just eleven days later, we produced a closing ceremony that featured a medley of unforgettable performances, from a sneak peek of a Peaky Blinders stage show to a surprise finale by Ozzy Osbourne.
