My Dad Wrote A Porno

Comedian Jamie Morton’s discovery of his father’s contributions to the world of literary erotica became the basis for his critically-acclaimed podcast, My Dad Wrote a Porno. After shattering streaming records, Jamie parsed his program into a much-lauded live show that toured globally. When HBO bought the rights to produce a one-night-only event for broadcast on their platform, they needed a production partner they could trust to handle the event logistics, the digital stream, and the accompanying VOD to live on Max. 

Done + Dusted worked with Jamie, his cohosts, HBO, and the venue to create an excellent experience for the in-person attendees as well as a dynamically-shot and staged broadcast for the viewers at home.

Filmed in front of a live audience at the Roundhouse in London, Jamie read aloud a “lost chapter” with his friends James Cooper and Alice Levine providing uproarious commentary. The show wasn’t just a hilarious good time - it was also done for a good cause: all proceeds from ticket sales were donated to Mind, a U.K.-based charity supporting mental health causes.
