Budweiser Rewind: Black Eyed Peas
The world changed in 2020, but our need for entertainment - and community - did not. As one of the world’s leading sponsors of live entertainment, Budweiser wanted to break new ground in finding ways to bring music concerts to eager audiences at their homes. In order to do that, they needed a production partner with both the experience to put up a live show remotely and the creative vision to make the most out of a less-than-ideal set of circumstances. That’s why they turned to Done + Dusted.
We tapped The Black Eyed Peas to headline the first show, and took every precaution to make sure that the production went above and beyond in ensuring safety for everyone on-site. The quartet performed old hits, told new stories, and stuck around for a live audience Q&A session, taking advantage of the streaming medium’s capacity for unprecedented interactivity.
This debut broadcast - streamed live on YouTube - attracted over 450,000 unique viewers and set a new standard for virtual concerts as more than entertainment, but a source of community and comfort at a time when it was needed most.
