Battle of the Baddest

Saudi Arabia is fast becoming a global force in entertainment, investing heavily in live sports, music, and ceremonial events. To mark the beginning of the fourth Riyadh Season - the region’s annual sports and entertainment festival - the Saudi Tourism Authority needed an opening event that dazzled, impressed, and proved to the world why the future of live entertainment is in Saudi Arabia. To share this event with the world, they turned to Done+Dusted.

We partnered with Sela | صلة and POSSIBLE to create a stunning opening ceremony using state-of-the-art technologies like hologauze, AR, lasers, pyrotechnics, and Vanish LED, along with dynamic choreography and enhanced live performances from the likes of Lil Baby, Flowdan, and Becky G. 

The performances ratcheted up the energy in the room to fever pitch as a boxing ring was elevated into the arena from below, setting the stage for The Battle of the Baddest, a heavyweight boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou that made headlines worldwide.
